Kinetic Kill Missile (KKM)
A fairly common missile launcher built in the 23rd century that has since made its way to Mars. The missile launcher has three externally mounted missiles at the front of the tube. These hypervelocity missiles can be fired individually or in a triple battery to overwhelm active protection systems. There are a variety of ammunition types available for the KKM launcher. The standard missile variant has passive homing systems for minor course correction, making the KKM easy to use with minimal training. More advanced rounds incorporate a Sabot system for increased kinetic penetration. Other variants with explosive or fragmentary warheads are used mainly for anti-infantry purposes. Once all three missiles are fired, a new cartridge of three missiles is reloaded at once, rather than having to manually load each one.
