Most Mira Station - Мост Мира Станция

An orbital “UN Headquarters” of sorts constructed after World War III. Though its function is mostly symbolic, there are a number of stipulations each party must follow under penalty of global sanction. All nations of significant stature agree to maintain a number of citizens on one of the habitation arms. No violence or hostilities are to occur aboard Mir Most. A diplomatic presence is to be maintained within the MMS Council. Disputes are to be raised before the MMS Council before war is on the table, otherwise the aggressor party will be held in global contempt. Territorial claims beyond Earth will be arbitrated at the MMS Council. Attempts to circumvent the authority of the MMS charter (IE by calling upon allies to violate sanctions) will result in the forfeit of any extraterrestrial territory claims (burning the bridge to space). The MMS’s effectiveness at managing system peace is up for debate, given the number of wars that have occurred since its completion. Defenders of the MMS ideals would argue that most, if not all conflicts were brought before the council before military action was taken, thus making them legitimate and justified battles.

History

Established 2170 after decades of construction. The station remained in Operation until the Most Mira terrorist attacks in October of 2301.
