Nuclear Mine
The most feared weapon among the Martian Insurgents' inventory, rarely seen on the battlefield due to the scarcity of resources and sophistication needed to produce them. Nuclear Mines are mostly built from defunct reactors or nuclear weapons initially intended for terraforming. Most are fairly low yield compared to the nuclear weapons employed centuries ago in World War 3, but can be devastating to even the most heavily armored patrol. Radiation shielding has become commonplace with the introduction of the HAARV, but this protection is only effective if hull integrity is maintained.
