Tieflings and Aasimars

Aasimars and Tieflings are two sides of a similar coin, both having the same origin. When a Protector or Destroyer is exorcised from their vessel in a painful process with a high mortality rate, the Aasimars and Tieflings are what is left. These corrupted mortal vessels can further spread the corruption into their offspring. Generally speaking, they fill roles similar to half elves, as diplomats, bards, and sex workers. However, the powerful divine residue from their possessors gives them a certain amount of power above their uncorrupted cousins.
