In the Verdant Steppes, good soil is hard to find, and harder to maintain. Hunting is not the safest job either. As a result, famrs are the most important pillars of the community. When they fall, cities crumble. They are full entities with a clear hierarchy and lots of power, even on the City-States they fear. To rule over such great establishments, Farm-Master are put in charge of operations.
Farm-Masters are officials with a seat at the negotiation table against the regionnal governor, they handle the exchanges of schedule and decide how much food and utilities will go which way. Simply put, they are super important farmers whose voices are heard lets the cities starve to death.
