Ilebasse

Forternian settlement on one of the islets among the shores of a delta. Serves as capital of the County of Peufroide, which is part of the Nordon Dukedom. Relatively temperate despite being the northernmost of the Forternian cities. For a sea-side city it doesn't rely on salt-water fishing, prefering to catch whatever crustaceans and migrating fishes happen to pass the surrounding rivers for the monsters are quite aggressive the further west you go. If there are accesses to the Green Sea, Ilebasse is definitely not it. It got great salt out of the bargain though.

Government

Ruled directly by the Countess from her keep. It keeps tab on other settlements along the riverbeds.

Industry & Trade

Food and salt are the primary means of revenu Ilebasse has. The inhabitants having mastered the perfect technique to produce salt for sea-water in abundance despite the dangers of the process.
