Imperial Shortsword

A short double-edged blade serving as a side-arm in the Kratoth Legion, it is used by Demons of all sizes and backgrounds.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Given its nature of forged and sharpened object, one needs only thrust the pointy part in whatever one wants dead while the sharp sides allow for slashing for much the same result.

Manufacturing process

Usually cast within moulds, especially in the case of massively-produced bronze variants thanks to their low heat requirements.

Significance

The shortsword is a straightforward symbol of the Legions or of pure warfare as the Empire sees it. Three of them adorn the official Imperial flag, but they are drawn on a large of number of other insignas too.
