Megaspida

A slow and towering monster said to be absolutely impervious to anything man-made. The Megaspida has the face of a large frowning horse, a greatly armored body with spikes. Tall as a house, it relies on wind magic strikes to slowly eliminate intruders, making them bleed to slow them down, then stomping them to death. It inhabits the depth of Carsil and has no predator to speak of.
Like the slumbering Resogon of Fana, the Megaspida is a slothful creature who normaly rests on the sol, gathering mana from the surrounding and feeding on the tasty fruits of giant carsilian trees that fell on their own. Sometimes a Megaspida will bump against a tree to accelerate the fall of fruits. In the winter, the Megaspida curls up inside a cave or nest and hibernates.
