Old Imperial

"It's in Old Talk."
"What's this say?"
"Something about a Governor whose mouth is full of... actual excrements. It... might be a metaphor."
Young Imps stumbling upon a mysterious old clay inscription.
An ancient pluricentric tongue used in the Old World by those who would become Demons. It has evolved into Common Imperial, with its structure greatly altered, inspired by other dialects, its pronunciations survives in the current day. It is still sees some use in obscure theater plays or as a distinguished lingo for the wealthy citizens of the Empire, and the most ancient texts are kept unaltered in this reminder of the culture that came before.   Despite being referred to as "Imperial", its origin predates the establishment of the Keratos Empire. It is fair to assume such a mistake is due to over-simplification over the decades.
