Porthoth

An old farmer living near Fur Dessath, City of Beginnings handling the largest fieldDemon Empire. While he hates the Empire's politics, what with all the breeding and the Archdemons being in charge, he still gladly takes their coins to nourish the rest of the citizens. He also lets students visit the farm and kill some critters so that he doesn't have to, but letting them toil the earth is out of the question. He won't rely on pawns of the Empire to work for him, unlike the farmers up in Mako Marith or the slaves of the innermore City-States.
Porthoth is old, cranky, and blunt. He taught his sons all he could and hopes they grow up to be independent like he is.
