Resilion

A smaller subspecies of Resogon living in trees and that also displays a calmer behavior. Resilions are found on the western edges of the gigantic Carsil Forest, where they are content with the fruits and small found in the clearings and such. Their size and burst speed are still a threat to those who intrude on their slow meals, not to mention how their oversized claws can dig into flesh like they dig into the tall trees they nest over. Some could mistake an intense battle scene for the simple attempt of a Resilion to climb his way home.
The difference between Resilion and Resogons lies not only in their shorter height, but in the shapes of their skull and lower body. They share the same mouth-to-head ratio, but their snots dig deeper into their face. Their hindlegs are shorter and the lost weight makes them a bit faster in casual movement. Adventurers do not face Resilions often, as the way to western Carsil is lies either through unbeatable Gigantaures, or through a harsh terrain like the shattered east of the Rossan-Valid Dukedom.
