The Imperial-Feral Wars

A gruesome conflicts pitting the Demon Empire and its demonic troops against the primal yet cunning Lega warriors in their archipelagoes.
In older days, the budding Demon Empire was in dire need of manpower to expand its territories. Multiple raids were made on Feral villages with the intent to harvest slaves, fruits and wood. Forest of the Feral Isles were not buzzing with monsters, like the forests of the continent were.
In 259, the remaining villages of the Feral isles banded together under the guidance of a King and pushed back the invaders, securing their control of the Isles for generations.

The Conflict

Outcome

Lega slaves came to become citizens of the Empire, joining the ethnicity over time. The Empire had secured a lot of riches from the earlier raids, but lost a great deal of its military.

Aftermath

The Empire slowly adopted the ideas of a Demon Lord to breed demons in batches, and value quantity and quality when it came to warfare. The Feral government became wary of outsiders and never forgot the terrible deeds of the Demon forces.
