Tropha Road

Also known as the "Food Road". It is the oldest road towards the west built by the Daemonis Republic first to ease access towards the west, then to transport valuable food-stuff critical to its population growth, and finally to transport its armies for the Eternal Conquest by the Keratos Empire that succeeded the Republic.
With the Imperial City-States becoming more self-subsiding, the Trophe Road saw less use by the Demons, with its use becoming more accustomed to Blunterese merchants and the occasional travelers entrusted by either side.
Recently, the Road's ownership was contested by a Forternian incursion aiming to conquer the Baltath Hills and completely subjugate the Road's defenders. The ensuing Battle of the Cleaving Hills ended in Imperial victory.
