Wyvern-Riding

A rare mode of transport consisting, as the name might suggest, on riding on the back of a Wyvern towards your destination. Much like Horse-Back riding, this mode of transport includes a rider, potential passentgers as well as luggage attached to the back of the beast.
Wyverns are rare, large and powerful monsters that have been tamed into vehicules by Demons of the Verdant Steppes . They can be extreme valuable War assets. In the past, Wyvern-Riding was a prized method used to soar over monster-infested woods or enemy terriotories. Nowadays hover, the declining amount of Wyvern have made their employ far rarer, mostly for government officials or powerful Demons.
Caring for a Wyvern is a challenge given the energy they require daily. Leaving them in the wild allows them to feast on monsters, although doing this contains the risk of never seeing the Wyvern again. They could get killed, or run off if your taming was insufficient.

Cargo & Passenger Capacity

Despite what their frame might suggest, it is difficult for Wyverns to carry a lot of weight. A maximum of four weighty passengers is the most an adult Wyvern can support.
