Hunter's Holoring
A hunter's holoring is a ring made to be worn either as a navel jewel or a soft belt over the abdomen of a ryclin. When they hunt and eat something, the ring is made to either be pulled open by the belt or stretch with their stomach, then projecting a decorative image. The idea was to essentially turn a round belly into a canvas for digital art. It was marketed heavily and popular for a few years, but wore out in mainstream appeal. It occasionally had issues projecting right depending on the consumed mass, poor quality ones would fall off with a strong enough struggle, and the holograms were cheap and sometimes didn't show with certain belly colors. It also didn't usually work with the armor of a solavore, losing out on a large potential demographic of ryclin that frequently consume. Higher quality and custom designs still remain very popular with Prey Pounce dancers that deliberately show off a prey-belly in their routine.
