Vampire

Vampires are created when a living being is bitten by a Dracspire and not killed during the initial blood drinking. The bite initiates a transformative process that halts the victim's heartbeat and rewires their body to function on foreign blood. Unlike dracspires, vampires are not considered undead. Their bodies are reanimated and sustained by the blood they consume, but their hearts remain still. Vampires, while powerful, are a lesser reflection of their Dracspire creators, dependent on blood for survival and limited in their regenerative capabilities. Vampires inherit the predatory nature of their dracspire creators, stalking and feeding on the blood of living beings to sustain themselves.     Vampires possess regenerative abilities, allowing them to heal and regrow flesh. However, their capabilities are inferior to those of Dracspire . They cannot grow arbitrary flesh or reshape their bodies beyond basic healing. Vampires remain susceptible to death if they are deprived of blood. Unlike dracspires, their original flesh is subject to decay and mortality, necessitating a constant supply of blood to sustain their existence. This makes them bound to a life of predation, reliant on consuming the blood of others to maintain their strength and vitality.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Vampires, while still possessing a supernatural allure, appear less majestic and more predatory compared to dracspires. Their skin is paler and slightly translucent, lacking the radiant quality of dracspires. Their eyes, though they may glow faintly, are less intense and more varied in color, typically maintaining a human-like appearance with a hint of red or yellow. Vampires have sharp fangs, but they are shorter and less pronounced than those of dracspires. Their features are more in line with their human origins, though they retain an unnatural sharpness and attractiveness. They do not exhibit the ability to grow arbitrary flesh, so any additional features like claws or wings are not present. Vampires move with a stealthy, almost animalistic grace, reflecting their constant need to hunt and feed.
