Lunala

Description

Lunala is the Aarakocra goddess of reason and femininity. She is the sister of both Karsus and Sharess. She is quiet and calculated, and maintains the flawless orbit and rotation of her egg, the moon. From her watchtower upon her egg in the sky she takes careful notes on the happenings both upon Orential and beyond. It is said that no deed performed while Lunala hangs in the sky can escape her shrewd and watchful eye. Where she once watched over Orentia and her sister guarded against the Abyss beyond the planes, she has taken on both roles after the death of her sister and must turn herself and her egg away from Orentia and back again to study both realms efficiently, causing the phases of her moon.

Appearance

Lunala appears as an Aarakocra woman of average height. Her features resemble those of a secretary bird. She is studious and frequently appears lost in thought. Her feathers are supernaturally smooth and shine with a dim silver light. She dresses in sleek robes and carries with her always her sapphire bound recordbook.

Personality

Lunala is calm and collected. She speaks with an exacting cadence and clear voice. She has a formal, almost academic air, and has total faith in her plans and convictions. She keeps frugal records of the goings on in and beyond the world. Lunala considers her record-keeping an essential task among the gods and is curious and organized. She favors women, especially intelligent women, detests thoughtless or short-sighted acts, and respects those mortals who keep good records and make logical, considered choices.

Worship
