Welcome to Orentia!
Orentia is a medium fantasy campaign setting with an emphasis on pirates, exploration, and seafaring adventures.The world is in an age of expansion, exploration, and economic exploitation. The old and poorly run empires of the East and West are coming into conflict on the open seas and the atmosphere is ripe for anyone with a ship, a sword, and a bit of luck to make history. Mercenaries, trading companies, navies, and especially pirates are everywhere seeking to make their fortunes. The seas of Orentia are a melting pot of inscrutable strangers, unique islands and environments, and ferocious creatures.
Will you hitch your dreams to an existing nation, company, or fleet, or will you bravely forge your own path across the seven seas? In addition to its unique setting, Orentia has several reccomended sets of house rules intended to help the systems of D&D5e better fit a lower fantasy, swashbuckling, seafaring adventure.
