The Rusalka take the form of young, lithe human women. When endangered, they are believed to extend their nails into razor sharp claws.

Rusalki are believed to be born from desperate young women who make pacts with the Chort Yarta. War Brides are considered especially prone to Yarta, particularly if widowed.

Ecology and Habitats

All reported Rusalki sightings have occured within Novaya. Rusalki are typically found in bodies of water such as lakes and ponds.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Rusalki are believed to prey on lustful men who they seduce before drowning in their home pool.
