Personal history

Vincenti was born to the wealthy Visconti family in 161IE. The second son of his father, it was expected that Vincenti would takeover his uncle's banking business and serve as the family treasurer when he came of age. Vincenti was far more invested in swordplay and stories from the many travellers that found themselves on The Velvet Coast then he was stewardship and finances.
Upon coming of age, Vincenti sought passage on a merchant vessel from Jaryanne, arriving in the East with nothing but a rapier and a coin purse on his belt. Bluffing his way into a meeting with the merchant's guild of Jaryanne, he proposed a trade deal on behalf of his family.
When he returned to Floria, his father was initially furious until Vincenti revealed a letter from the merchant's guild of Jaryanne stating the guild's acceptance of the Visconti family's trade agreement. The Visconti family rapidly became one of the most prominent importers of Eastern goods into The Velvet Coast.
With his father's blessing, Vincenti ventured back into the East, sating his wanderlust on the condition that he occasionally establish new ties for the good of his family.
By 201IE, Vincenti found himself a guest of the Imperial Court of the Empire of Syama, the first human from The North to find himself in a prominent role in Sutra Bay.
