Elbarus, The ancient evil

Elbarus was a commanding officer in the Dar Land army, he was a notorious commander in the war against the giants. He was known for his hatred of giants and their kind.

Before the war there was an incident, where the wizards were sealing off Alzahars pages, and  Elbarus was entrusted to carry the page to its to be resting place, through the time the container of the page was broken and it interacted with Elbarus, who felt the magic coarse through him, as he imbued with it. 
The page changed him, he became hate fulled and went in to battles as though not worrying  about his life, at least that's how it looked to all the others, because he knew, he was immortal, and nothing could stop him.
Then followed the Giant-Dark Land war, in which the giants attacked hoping to gain land somewhere that wasn't mountains, Elbarus was one of the few generals, that stood between them and the Dark Lands. He was so notable in the defense, that the giants started avoiding fighting him. To which he responded by making a counter attack, where he charged their lands, burning villages and killing everyone that lived there. He would later be referred to as ''Elbarus the Evil'', because of it.

In his time away the Giants had pushed up to Tanaman and beyond, Elbarus found out of the threat the giants posed at their current location, all other giant forces had retreated to protect their loved ones from Elbaruses onslaught.
Elbarus had made his way back, with his battle hardened worriers, and the following fight was the deciding one for the future of the Dark lands. At the start the giants were winning, and then Elbarus was beaten down by the enemy's officer... but Elbarus got up, as if the giant were a mere child, throwing fake punches. The giant slammed him downs once more, and again and again, but, he just got up again.
The giants, under their commanders orders retreated, but they did not escape, as they were cut down one by one, none were spaird...

The wizards made a peace treaty with the giants.
And as part of the deal, Elbarus was sealed away...
Untill a gnome broke him out by accident.
