The dead land kobolds

The dead land kobolds is a special species of kobolds that has grown an immunity against the sands of the desert and now have made housing in the sandstone pillars. They are characterized by black glassy eyes, in contrast to the normal kobolds yellow-orange. While a desert might seem strange to a creature with sunlight sensitivity, it is quite reasonable, seeing as they dig under the sandstone pillars and only go outside during the night if needed.

Basic Information

Ecology and Habitats

They live together with a Brass dragon as their leader, coming outside for storytelling by the dragon. Inside their cave, it is ornated with fine glass support beams, the walls are lined with tools and equipment made of glass, including glass shovels, pickaxes, and more. In the habitat, there is a special room at the top of the sandstone pillar, in which a large lens is used to melt down the sand to be quickly made into what is required.

Dietary Needs and Habits

They sustain themselves with creatures that live underground, including bugs and bigger creatures. they have even made farms for small creatures that eat the sand and have the capability to digest it.   Water they get from deep in the earth, digging to an underground water stream, which supplies the entirety of the civilization.
