Lizardfolk
The origins of Lizardfolk is a debated topic. Some think they were anthropomorphized reptiles in the swamps during the chaos. Some say the devilish brood of dragons. Some say a magical experiment gone wrong. Likely, all of these theories are correct to an extent. None can argue that Kobolds have a connection to dragons nor how Lizardfolk seem strangely unaffected by magic. Which theory is ultimately correct though is yet to be proven.
Lizardfolk take several different forms. Kobolds tend to resemble the dragon that they serve, their scales taking on a metalic or chromatic tinge. Lizardfolk, depending on their tribe, may resemble the lizard they hold a similarity to. Troglodites have a pastiness that is to be expected from long periods of time spent underground away from the sun.
