Materials and Goods of Orlos
The planet of Orlos has most of the materials found on any other planet. However, there are a few substances that are 'unique' (aka. not in the core dnd 3.5 rulebooks) to this world as outlined below.
Blue Ice: Found at the heart of glaciers, objects made of blue ice are both sharper and more fragile and constantly give off a cold aura.
Chaos Gem: The crystalization of chaos magic, Chaos Gems are known to be used in many objects of chance.
Chitin: Harvested from the carapaces of giant insects (or even Teronians in some cases), chitin can be used to form lighter forms of armor. They also avoid the use of metal that hinders many druids.
Coal-Gems: Coal-gems are used as batteries to power other items. Some of the more powerful ones can even self-charge.
Glimmerblood: Formed from plants with extremely potent necrotic properties, those infected with glimmerblood are incapable of healing. Healing magic that affects infected individuals has the oposite effect, causing the necrotic essense in them to boil and kill them from inside out. Glimmerblood comes in a lesser and greater varient based on the strength of the necrotic properties.
Mage Doom: Formed from distilled chaos gems, this poison turns the magic in a spellcaster against themselves, often resulting in magical meltdowns of the individual.
