Bloodwash Gulch and the Attempted Takeover of the Fighter Union
Strapped for cash, I heard about a Coliseum fight that was going to take place with the promise of reward money. Bart was telling me not to go, but why should I listen to him. Once I reached the Coliseum and talked to the other participants, I noticed that there was some sorta seal around my sword. There is a gold chain and golden lock that keeps the sword in the sheath. I don’t remember puttin that on there, but there is a lot that has been happenin’ without me askin’ lately. So I go into this fight without a sword, but I know my way around a cantrip or five. I don’t remember the first fight, but the second fight was lizardmen and the third were big boney Minotaurs. I had to get closer to cast a curse on those Minotaurs, and one of them had the bright idea to charge me! The nerve of him! The group ended up blowing that sorry sack all over the stadium.
After our fights we talked to the leader of this Dragonhearts fighter union. He offered more coin to protect a party he was throwing. I could use that cash to write a new song, so i went along with it. There was a cool cat named Argyle that drove us over to the party. Turns out some disgruntled lizardmen tried to hijack the party. I called on some hot new songs to help take them out. I feel sorry for the poor sods. They had a point in what they were doing. I feel like if I cared any bit more, I would have been standing there with them. The head of the fighters union was an absolute tosses. Didn’t help us out one lick in the fight.
Back in town I should find someone to read whats on the lock of my rapier. It looks like there are some runes on the lock. I messed around with my tools to try to get it open to no avail.
