Havenport Housing Market

Housing within Havenport is scarce. Contact Sean in #dnd-shopping to see current availibilty of housing. Homes do not replenish at a fixed rate. There are five main districts within Havenport: Oldtown, Downtown, the Rift, the Wizards Quarter, and the Paper District.
Oldtown is the oldest district of Havenport and is the closest to the seabed. The boats that make up this section of the city have been heavily modified. It would be a stretch to still considered these ships. Most buildings here have facades of stone and fine wood. The main focal point of this area is the headquarters of the Havenport Geographical Society.
Downtown is the newest section of Havenport. The headquarters of both the Shooters Lodge and Gul Syndicate are located within this area. Housing within this area is cheaper but there a fewer amenities available and is closest to like living on a ship. This district has the greatest distance above the seabed.
The Rift is located between Oldtown and Downtown. The two focal points for this area are the Clock tower and the Fish Market. The Clock tower is the administrative headquarters for the Havenport Chronicler and the de facto headquarters for Imanthe's Mauraders. This district is located directly above the drop off between the low and high seabed.
The Wizards Quarter is much different from other areas of town. Most people who live here construct their own homes, most commonly styled as a tower. Lorwyn Gorwick takes up her residence here and all sorts of strange creatures can be found throughout. Housing within this area is cheap compared to other sections.
The Paper District is the financial heart of Havenport. Cradle to most of the businesses of Havenport, space is at a premium here. Most business owners want to live close to this area in order to protect their businesses.
If one wishes to increase their living space they may purchase a duplex add-on in order to double the square footage.
