The Kalju Conglomerate
"Spark of the Forge, Light our Path."
The Conglomerate is the face of the various organizations that keep it running. It was founded in the New World to research new methods of improving life and provide them to the populous. They were behind the development of both the Lightning Rail and the Airship, among other integrations of Magitech.
They continue to expand, accumulating resources for their systems of research and development.
Structure
The Conglomerate is helmed by Director Sheer Cliffside, a Tabaxi who is also rumored to be the founder, although the Conglomerate's age calls that rumor into question.
Under the direction of Mr. Cliffside, the various branches of the Conglomerate work towards the multitude of projects put forward by both the Director himself and his Board of Savants.
Each branch has its own organizational structure, although it is still expected to act in the Conglomerate's best interests.

Develop and provide the means of integrating various improvements to livelihood through research and Magitech.
Assets
The breadth of branches under the Conglomerate provide it with immense wealth, which they use mostly to fund their own projects, but some of those funds also go to the further development of Ultiir, the City of Light.
History
A fairly young organization, the Conglomerate began nearly 150 years ago, as little more than a center for research. Its various projects caught the attention of various other small groups, and they banded together to form what would eventually expand into what the Kalju Conglomerate is today.
