Personal history

Born into a family of hippy dippy people Velma never really fit in with her family. Analytical and skeptical she preferred science and debunking to mysticism and blind faith. She spent most of her youth devouring libraries and solving mysteries with her friends. Recently she took up the job of librarian and scribe but longed for the days of adventure for her youth. When her friend Daphne proposed colonizing Velma saw an opportunity for adventure. When the expedition final began she staked her claim as the resident historian and scribe.
