Kalron Malbar

Kalron Mal'Bar is a high elf, born in the Kalendeh region of The Elder's Hand Isles. The Kalendeh region was known for having a dark bog where the sun was obscured by the bloom, a semi toxic gas. The Elves of Malbar lived deep in the bloom, and as a result their once golden skin has faded to a cold pale white, and their golden or fire red hair has tarnished to an icy silver. The region of Kalendeh was ruled at that time by an Archmage named Inaego; Inaego worked at one time for the Judges of the great Cambrian Courts. Unknown to the people of Kalendeh however was that Inaego was a Vampire, as well as a powerful Blood Mage.    The Blood Mage took Kalron as little more than a slave, but eventually he became a thrall, and somewhat of an apprentice. Kalron was little more than 150 when a group of The Keshal-Vidari stormed the keep and killed the Vampire. Kalron, like many of the other thralls, were given their freedom and asked to leave the keep so they Keshal could destroy it. As the others fled into the Bogs, Kalron simply sat on the ground, watching as the Keshal razed the keep, and in the process came to conversation with Amon Keshal, a knight of the Keshal, but not yet a master. Amon bonded with the young elf, and asked her sisters to take Kalron back to The Eldest House for evaluation for apprenticeship.     Kalron decimated the trials, despite having no formal sword training he was able to wield a Val'Sura with just a few days of training. He was made an apprentice but due to his status as a male, he was not desired by any of the masters attending the trials. Amon was tasked by Speaker Lu'Daehan Keshal to take on the title of Master and begin her tenure with the apprenticeship of this powerful young wizard. Amon oversaw Kalron has he constructed a Val'Sura of his own, a green bladed longsword style Val'Sura. over the next 248 years, the pair journeyed across the known world together, sealing rifts, slaying monsters, and hunting necrophasist. As Kalron found more of these Elderian wizards wielding strange necromantic magic and wielding weapons vaguely similar to the Val'Sura, he found himself more intrigued by their methods.     Kalron eventually found himself at odds with the teachings of the Keshal when he discovered his soul would join the veil upon his death, the idea of being assimilated into some hivemind did not sit well within him, he eventually sought ways to avoid this fate, looking for ways to prolong his life without the use of necromancy; but only for so long did his efforts escape the watchful eyes of the Elden Masters; the Wandwyrm bound Masters including Amon's mother called a hearing in which Kalron was to answer for himself; he explained to the Eldest that he simply wanted his soul to ascend to the Evermeet, as his ancestors did. His logical failing was largely blamed upon his gender in this hearing; and his desires were found to be selfish, for Kalrons knowledge had grown, and his status as a warrior was legendary. How many young apprentices could he help with his knowledge beyond life? Kalron feigned agreement with the masters, to escape the hearing. But he never returned to the Eldest house, he sought escape from the ranks of The Keshal.    He first escaped to Shale, where he lived as a bar keeper for many years on one of the sister isles; He saw the rise of Dr. Greyjoy and the return of necromancy, seeking the knowledge kept from him by the Keshal Vidari, he sought out acolytes of the Necromancer Balder Wrexx. Wrexx was not associated with Greyjoy, he instead worshiped a "whispering serpent" who spoke to him from the world beyond worlds, the Ethereal; the place all necromancy draws its magic from.   Balder took on Kalron as an apprentice in Necromancy, but as a wizard and a spell weaver, Kalron was already far more gifted after his tenure under Amon. He quickly overtook Balder in his circle and began speaking to this Serpent directly, the serpent was the lingering lifeforce of the great Dragon Kel'Azad, who had perserved his lifeforce in an effort to eventually become a Dracolich. This began Kalrons journey into the true path of a Necrophasist, and his travels across the seas of Shale to the Shores of Andrim

Necrophasist, caniving, scheming.
