Scribbs are what the people of Shale and other magic users call any humanoid creature unable to wield magic. Traditionally, nearly anyone can learn or study magic and eventually produce results, but for some this is quite literally impossible; for whatever reason their bodies reject any influence of the Arcanum. Scholars speculate on the cause of this condition and possible prevention but still to this day wizarding families of Shale birth the occasional Scribb.
