Welcome to Andrim, specifically, the lowlands of the barony of Bettigar; In the small mining town of Ockney's Hold. The nearby Brandybale wine families vineyard and the copper hills are what the little town is most well known for; but this weekend it host The Harvest festival, a yearly event that welcomes in the fall harvest in Andrim with food, music, dance, games and a tournament. Captain Bradley Traverse has summoned a small group of Free Lancers to accept a job working security for the event, supplementing his town's forces. It has been 58 years the beginning of the reign of Ajax, 58 years since all forms of organized religion were outlawed, slavery was re-instituted armies were dissolved and elves and dwarves and many others were subjugated to the terms of The Black Iron Pact. You four are the only people who replied to Captain Taverse's post; You come from all walks of life, and all corners of Orund, some of you are looking for something... or someone, some of you are running from something or... someone but now you find yourselves wondering in through the wooden arch gate of the town of Ockney's Hold after days of riding through the ups and downs of the copper hills, where the mines many of the town's men work at are located. You make your way into town around sundown, the night before the tournament is set to begin, as agreed with captain Taverse. You walk into the Blue Belly Inn, the room is warm lit with candles and decorated with furs, tapestries as well as the laughter and camaraderie of its patrons. The atmosphere of the room is immediately welcoming as you head toward the bar, The bartender a large, portly water Genasi with two catfish like whiskers on both sides as you see him wiping down a glass you find an empty stool and notice their are only 3 other people in this inn sporting weaponry as you look to your left and your right and see the people you see here before you.
