The Outcast
The Outcast is a mysterious supernatural entity that some may even call a god; He presides over and resides in a timeless and infinite plane called The Void, a sort of realm between realms that is accessible across all planes. The void is a source of magic and energy that is wholly unique and The Outcast has power over it all. Myth surrounding this figure perpetuates many facets of society, commonly those who follow The Outcast reference depictions of their quarry in many forms of art throughout history; in an old oil painting or a Tapestry from the early centuries one may see him, in the background of the image or blending in with the crowd, he appears to most as a young man with a gaunt pale face and medium dark hair and clothing; a simple enough description that most scholars dismiss this "recurring character" in history as simply coincidencidental and generic features.
He is most commonly worshipped in the region of The Black Coast were the roots of the religion revolving around this mysterious figure first began sometime around the founding of Black Bottom; His holy talismans and shrines made of the rare Oma Whale bones that can only be fished from the shores of the Black Sea.
The Outcast is worshipped by the forgotten, the beaten, the broken and the dregs of society, as well as beggars and all manners of "Outcast" like himself.
During the age of Ajax, a foreigner monk named Mora Tel'Mythrn was discovered by the Outcast and promptly offered power, at first seeminly in exchange for entertainment. Bearing the mark of the Outcast gave Mora extraordinary powers, and command over the forces of the outcast home realm, called Void Magic. She would use this mark and it's gifts to help her friends solve the plot of the missing mages; eventually, after many years together as patron and pawn they became more akin to allies; the entity known as the Outcast through Mora's help discovered the true nature of his powers and their origin, and also became familiar with the strange ritual that brought him into existence; Through Mora's efforts The Outcast was made exponentially more powerful, granting him a true prescience throughout not just the realms but the past and future itself, where before he wondered randomly, nearly in confusion, the outcast could now navigate his power clearly, concisely and without the hindrence of his formerly mortal mind.
