Primordium

Primordium is an ancient and very powerful element that is left over from when Purite created the universe. Very small amounts of it still exist to this day, and as such it is incredibly rare.
Primoridum was present at the beginning of the universe, as it was one of the core elements of the universe's existence that was used by Purite. It is unknown whether Primoridum was an element that existed prior to the birth of the universe, or if Purite created it. It possesses massive amounts of energy, with a sample of Primordium the size of a grain of sand possessing the same amount of energy that the sun outputs over the course of a year. This fact has caused it be highly sought after by Dwarves, who dream of using the element in their constructs. There have been theoretical constructs designed to run on and optimize the output of energy from Primordium, though no sample large enough to use has been found in nearly 500 years.
Due to its incredible amounts of energy and rarity, Primordium samples are extremely expensive. A sample of Primordium the size of a gold coin can be priced at over 100,000 gold. This has caused many black market organizations to hunt for samples of Primordium, though very few have been successful. Finding any sample of Primordium at all is very difficult, as it is often buried deep within caves and under many meters of ground. Even when a sample of Primordium is found, extracting it is very dangerous. This is because too much force being exerted on the Primordium will cause it to rupture and release all of the energy within it at once. Thus, extracting it from the stone that it is often embedded in is very difficult, and requires immense preparation and delicate movements.
