Corelle, Queen of Imas

Corelle went down in Imas and Seprela history as a kind yet diligent queen, embodying all the ideals of the elves. She was known as the Silver Queen.   When Corelle Larethian was born, her parents, mesmorized by her vibrant green eyes, named her in honor of the their ancestor, Corellon Larethian, who rose to be the patron of all elves. During her childhood, Corelle listened to stories about how great grandparents, powerful mages, whom lost their lives during the 5th Crown War. Despite growing up during the nomadic period of Imas, Corelle studied the arcane, showcasing the innate magical abilities of her bloodline.   Corelle was well respected as she always displayed a tranquil and diplomatic demeanor. Mary remarked her striking resemblance to Corellon with braided golden hair, stunning eyes, and her tall stature. Corelle was a founding member of the revival of the Elven Court on the new continent. When deciding on a capital for their new empire, Corelle argued in favor of the coast east south of the continent, claiming the rich plains are ideal for a large community and the sea will open up trade for the old continent.   Corelle won the court's favor much to Caer's spite and named the capital as her namesake. Growing aggitated from Caer's underhanded dismissial of her honest victory, Corelle named the lake near the City of Caer as "Corellon's Blood' to remind Caer to respect her reign.   During Corelle's reign, she made strides in reconnecting Imas with the motherland, believing that growth and prosperity cannot be achieved in isolation. This allowed for new wordly discoveries and arcane knowledge to travel across to Imas. When threat of drow evasion loomed over Imas, Corelle was quick to strike while the iron was hot, but no amount of planning or interception could overpower centuries of Drow resentfulness. Corelle placed aside her feud with Caer as she respected his battle prowless and placed him as general of the elven court.   When the elven guard successfully destroyed all known passageways to the underdark, victory seemed inevitable. However, Corelle was assassinated in her bedchambers shortly before Imas' victory. Her death was mourned by many for years to come, and she is still celebrated as the founder of Imas in Seprela in an annual memorial.   Even in present times, her portrait is painted by artists across the land, many detailing her during her youth with the extravagant headpieces she was known to dawn. However, most favorable portrayals can be found in Seprela as many in Osnein still resent her for her feud with Caer.   Corelle died at the age of 512, bearing no children.
