Elven Guard Ranks:
Recruit
Description: Individuals still in training, undergoing rigorous preparation to become full members of the Elven Guard.
Responsibilities: Learning offensive and defensive combat, tension de-escalation, and justice lessons. Not yet involved in active duty.
Guardsman/Guardswoman
Description: General guards with no seniority. The entry-level position for those who have completed their training.
Responsibilities: Patrolling, enforcing laws, and maintaining order in their assigned areas.
Sergeant
Description: The first level of recognition, marking a guard's progression and increased responsibility.
Responsibilities: Leading small groups of guards, taking on more complex tasks, and assisting in the training of recruits.
Lieutenant
Description: Usually granted after five years of official service, reflecting a guard's experience and reliability.
Responsibilities: Commanding larger groups of guards, planning patrols, and coordinating efforts during significant events or crises.
Captain
Description: A rank granted for adeptness in leadership, indicating a high level of trust and competence.
Responsibilities: Holding moderate authority, overseeing multiple units, and making strategic decisions in the field.
Major
Description: High-ranking officers in charge of their own units. Must be at least this rank to officiate recruit training.
Responsibilities: Leading units, developing training programs, and executing large-scale operations.
General
Description: Extremely high-ranking officers with significant authority. Answer only to the General Commander.
Responsibilities: Overseeing major divisions of the Elven Guard, making strategic decisions at the highest level, and advising the General Commander.
General Commander
Description: The highest-ranking officer in the Elven Guard, in charge of the entire organization.
Responsibilities: Leading the entire Elven Guard, setting overall strategy, and answering directly to the ruler of Osnein. The current General Commander is Finnea of House Kyso.
