Backstory

Growing up I always loved to dance and was always able to read people pretty easily. I eventually attended the Bardic College of Eloquence where I learned everything from playing instruments to evolving my speech etiquette. Here I was able to perfect my love of dance and learn more ways to incorporate it into my battle and magic. I learned the best ways to speak with people and ensure they liked me, at least somewhat. After graduating from Bardic College around the age of 20, I joined a Dance Troupe and performed all over the desert. One fateful night traveling between Jarm and Sah'hada, we were attacked and my troupe was killed by an otherworldly being. It stood 10 feet tall with two large arms with pincers, two humanoid hands with four fingers, large horns and spikes, and spines protruding from its appendages. The being instantly grabbed the four members of my troupe, missing me. I tried to attack the monster with my magic and chakrams but it was no help. My troupe begged me to leave them and save myself. It is one of my biggest regrets. Being a Bard, no one believes my story and writes it off as a tall tale. Since the incident, I have been guiding adventurers and treasure hunters through the Desert keeping my eyes out for the creature. I won't let anything like this happen to anyone else. Eventually, my wings came in fully grown and I was able to soar above the Desert and protect my parties even better as I could see for much further. Not only did they become handy while adventuring, but they also became pivotal to my performances. The people loved seeing me dance in the air and occasionally I would dance with others and let them feel the freedom of flight for a brief moment. I've lived a happy life in Sah'hada but recently I have been craving a bigger adventure, one to make a name for myself beyond, Fayz Oreander, the Bard. I recently heard a rumor of a Dungeon that was uncovered to the northeast of town. No one has ever returned from it after entering its bowels. If I could find a strong party of adventurers to join me, maybe we can figure out what this new dungeon is. And when we do, the fame, riches, and glory will surely come our way!
