Melora, the second Prime Deity ever created by the dragon of creation known by Asgorath. Alongside Pelor, the two of them set forth in both the upper planes and prime material to bring life to the multiverse. The Beasts roaming the prime material plane are he most widely recognized and appreciated creations. Where Pelor shone, her plants thrived, growing into immense forests, and densely packed jungles.

The connection between the two deities formed into an unbreakable bond, which led to the two being married. Over time they went on to create more deities, their daughter Erathis, went on to be the creator of civilization. Two sons by the name of Kord and Odin became protectors of Ysgard.

Melora played an important role over the years helping the material plane defend itself from incursions from the lower planes. Bane, the Strife Emporer is regarded as her biggest enemy. Where she creates beautiful Beasts, he corrupts them into your worst nightmares. This friction between the two came to a head in the Dawn War.

Following the imprisonment of Tharizdun, the Dawn War kicked off a war waging between the lower and upper planes. Melora, used her power to try protecting her beautiful creations across the prime material plane. Multiple battles took place between her and other deities, but the most historic was one between her and the Strife Emperor. In the land now known as Olyne Elunore, the Wild Mother and Corellon both landed a grave wound on the Betrayer God. Bane retreated into the lower planes, after this assault. Where Corellon shed blood, the first races of the elves were born. The city of their founding later became known as Fort Jaidell, where the first grove to Melora was grown.

In modern times, Melora is widely honored and worshipped by sailors. Holy symbols are built into most ships and blessed by druids to grant luck for its passengers as they cross the high seas. The occasional hamlets across Osserea will have gardens grown in her honor, serving as temples to her. In Olyne Elunore, the elves claim a direct connection to her through some of the oldest trees standing on Osserea.
