Ostea and the Deva System

A small moon orbiting a gas giant, Ostea has been home to humanity ever since they arrived in Generation Ships. Telling legends of Earth, the long-forgotten homeworld, generations have lived and died on and around this, and other, adopted planets in the Deva star system.   Humans in the system rose to great heights - achieving technological innovations that once seemed like magic. Shaping the worlds around them, and themselves, humanity evolved and changed in this new environment. As the Ostean Golden Age bloomed, the worlds seemed like a playground for humanity to toy with as they pleased.   But then, Humans fell. First, The Long Dark cut off the Moon from the other planets of the system, and took out the machines that they depended on. Then, the The Nanoplague cut through the population, killing millions. It seemed as though all the innovations of mankind had conspired to end their creators. The End Times had come.
