When presented as an official member of the guild, character may use one of the following effects:   Adventange on one persuasion or intimidation check regarding matters pertaining to the guild, such as contract negotiation or establishing authority in a tense situation.   This effect may only be used one a person once per interaction (with potential lasting impression). The effect can continue throughout the course of the conversation if multiple people are present, though each person may only be impacted by a single advantaged roll.   May also be used to haggle prices for adventuring gear, lodging etc.

A small, double-sided card on handmade, thick, yellowed parchment. One side bears the Ad Hoc Adventurers Recruitment & Resettlement Guild official slogan and imagery. The other contains the adventurer's name with the signature of a person certifying their membership.


  On one side, the words "Ad Hoc Adventurers Recruitment & Resettlement" with the icons of the different aims of the guild (a shield with sword and stave, a heart, several adventurers, a scroll, and an open book). Below these, it reads "a new start for anyone, any time, in the arms of adventure."   On the other side, the words "Certified Adventurer" with the adventurer's name written clearly. Underneath, it is signed by the card issuer (typically Gleddy Goodvine in recent years) with the promise that the certification is "issued and overseen" by the signee.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The card continues a magical signature that prevents duplication or forgery, similar to a watermark on paper currency. This is seen by holding the card up to the light, which causes it to ripple with a distinctive iridescence otherwise impossible for such parchment.
