Port Parahelia
by Unknown artist, workshop of Michael Wolgemut, "Nuremberg Chronicles," public domain
Port Parahelia, located on an island simply called Parahelia, sits at the southwestern corner of the map and offers a vital connection between The Cradle and ocean trade, specifically through The Breakaway.
This small port city is a quick ferry ride from mainland Ostelliach and represents a staging ground for all import and export that leaves the continent. Every day, thousands of shipments of goods come to Port Parahelia before being launched from The Breakaway in an attempt to avoid the worst of the Dreadswirl's influence on ocean currents.
The port is known for artisans that create a type of jewelry made of combined sea and volcanic glasses obtained only in the region; charms, bracelets, pendants, and rings with the glass, called Bubblescent Glass, are considered to be powerful good luck charms, especially for sailors and miners.
