Durgrimst Az Sweldn rak Anhuin

The Dwarves of this clan have a tragic history. Long ago, before the conquerer wars, the clan was among the oldest, richest families of the dwarven kingdom. Unfortunately, Their doom was sealed, though, by two mistakes: they lived on the western edge of the Beorven Mountains, and they volunteered their greatest warriors in the High King's service after the rogue conquerer Monroe Marquis and his thirteen supporters had declared war on the High King. Monroe, his dragon Emrar, Lord Of The Black, and his 12 remaining ever-cursed commanders slaughtered hundreds them during the Battle of Dolbakh formally known as Lelenadorei. During that ill fated battle the dwarves of Vargrimst DreadHammer and Vargrimst BoltStone suddenly and ruthlessly turned their backs on their bretheren and joined the side of Monroe Marquis. Of that clan, only Grimstcarvlorss Anhûin and her guards survived. Anhûin soon died of grief, and her men took the name Az Sweldn rak Anhûin, The Tears of Anhûin, covering their faces to remind themselves of their loss and their desire for revenge.   The symbol of Durgrimst Az Sweldn Rak Anhuin is The Anvil and the Sword.   Description:   Anvil: The anvil represents their dwarven heritage and their former worship of Perturabo, the god of the forge. Structure

The head of the clan is traditionally known as the Grimstborith which is an hereditary title passed down through the ruling family, however should the head of the clan also be the king of the dwarves then the Grimstborith title is replaced with king. The title of king however is not hereditary and upon the kings death a clan summit is formed to decide who is to succeed the throne.
