Charismatic doesn't do justice to the leader of the Fervid and high priestess of Iya, Rector Maria. Not much is known about her background other than when she became a known entity to The Federation she already had thousands that followed her and her teachings.
Rector Maria has amassed quite the following throughout the years. She evangelizes the return of Sovereign Iya and warns all who can hear her to make sure they are living by his teachings otherwise they will reap what they sow. However her devoutness at times borders zealotry and the reaping she prophecies she ensures comes to fruition.
The Federation has not arrested Rector Maria for the actions of the Fervid even though they know she is the leader because her followers always fall on the sword for her. No one cast blame her way, no one curses her name, any Fervid caught simply claims to be solo actors, giving into a darkness that unlike her teachings. When questioned about her flock's actions she simply states that "They have fallen of the sacred path and I shall pray 100 times for the redemption of their soul."
Rector Maria's message can be heard throughout the week, as she conducts sermons everyday. She invites all to come but it is mostly Wallers and middle-class Iyans that attend. Coincidently it is the Magnates and the non-attendees that are most assaulted by the Fervid attacks and actions.
