Personal history
Mulus Pirem was born on the 47th of Winter in the 458th Year as the second-born child to Lord Remon and his wife Yolida. Mulus was a third-generation Otmorean as his father, Remon was the son of Jasperisian immigrants who came to Otmorea for trading opportunities.
He was the youngest of two siblings and he cherished his relationship with his older sister Lydia. Early childhood was rife with education and opportunity for the young lad but he always most enjoyed visiting the boats on the harbor where his father's shipping warehouse sat.
The Pirem family was overjoyed when King Abrams selected young Lydia to be betrothed to his son and heir, the crown Prince Titian. Yet tragedy struck in the summer of the 468th year when Lady Lydia was assassinated by non-human insurgents.
Grief-stricken, Lord Remon and Lady Yolida died within a year of the assassination, leaving their fortune and their business in the hands of Mulus just a few days before his 11th birthday.
Much to the surprise of everyone, Mulus took to running the business with shrewd acumen, by the time he was 14 he was appointed the youngest Magister in Otmorean history in recognition of his prodigy-level talent for business. Yet a mere year later, shortly following his 16th birthday, Mulus resigned his post and appointed a temporary executive over his company, and departed Otmorean shores in hopes to complete his education abroad.
Seven years later, he returned and rejoined the Magisters, and took control of his company. In the time of his return he became close friends with King Titian and would solidify this friendship by helping the Prince navigate the tragedy of losing a family of his own. In an act of loyalty, Mulus used his considerable resources to help track down the bandits that abducted Titian's son.
Later that year, Mulus was appointed High Magister and used that position to assist King Titian in legitimizing his son as a legal heir to the throne, and helped pass antislavery laws in several provinces.
As far as allies come, there are few more loyal than Mulus Pirem.
