Outdated Aurea

The world of Aurea consists of three continents: Lynae, Sanest, Verix. There are 18 major gods of Aurea. Lynae is home to the Dunes of Avarice. The Dunes of Avarice are a cursed desert region. The desert was once a lush landscape, home to the kingdom of Silero. The sands are riddled with dungeons tied to the curses of the fallen kingdom. In the Dunes are 4 Major Genies: Sear (Fire), Gale (Air), Rubble (Earth), Tidal (Water). Tidal grew bored of the ideals that the other 3 genies held; he separated himself to make a domain where life would flow and change like the ocean. Tidal now protects the island of Cyren; the only region of the Dunes where Water Genasi are naturally born. On the mainland Fire Genasi, Air Genasi, and Earth Genasi all can be born naturally. Sanest is across the ocean and is a land of harsh cold winters. Nature governs the inhabitants of Sanest. The dangers of Sanest have not stopped it from developing studies in Arcana. Sanestian mages excel at magic out of necessity. Verix is the unexplored continent. It lies waiting to be explored.
