No Man's Lands

Overview

The No Man's Lands are the unclaimed mountainous territories that mark the border between The Kingdom of Éirigh and The Kingdom of Coimeádach. Between the rough terrain, inclement weather patterns, and bands of bandits, these lands are uninhabitable and make for treacherous passage between the two kingdoms. Good for little more than harvesting stone as building materials, this harsh mountain range is feared by many, and explored by few. Travel between the two kingdoms is nearly always done via the Teorainn River, a much longer and far safer route. Perhaps the only known, intentional exception to this was Prince Finnlay Slánaitheoir's desperate escape during The First Great Dynastic Shift.
