General Physical Condition

Zannry is a scrawny twig of a goblin, possessing what could generously be called some upper body strength, but not much besides that.

Apparel & Accessories

Zannry dresses well, often wearing some form of suit or blazer. When he must wear something less formal and more comfortable, he still opts for button up shirts and slacks, regardless of the weather.

Specialized Equipment

Zannry frequently has at least two knives on his person, though he keeps them tucked away where they won't be seen. An advantage of choosing weapons that fit in sleeves.

Personal history

Zannry was born the eight son of the Laughshield family, circus performers who went from town to town trying to scrounge up as much money and food as they could to feed their massive family. Zannry in particular was adept with knives, throwing or juggling, and also proved to be adept at the family's side business: picking pockets. So for the first few years of his life, Zannry simply went on his way with his family.   Eventually, Zannry decided that the circus life didn't offer enough reward, so he set off on his own. He had heard of adventurers, daring individuals who threw caution to the wind to delve into ancient ruins or behind enemy lines so they could escape with untold riches. And to a goblin who already threw caution to the wind anyway, that sounded pretty good. So Zannry found himself a party of adventurers and got to work pillaging tombs and doing mercenary work. It wasn't too long though before Zannry stumbled on a different idea for how to make money.   Zannry decided that rather than risk his own life, he would hire other adventurers to go off on missions, and even if he paid them half of the value of what he recovered, he could still make a fortune. And it was while he had several adventuring parties out and about running errands that he had yet another idea for how to profit off adventuring. Zannry started selling tickets to let people watch the adventurers. He set up massive scrying pools and observed as his heroic underlings traipsed through dungeons and catacombs. Eventually this became more worthwhile than even selling the recovered artifacts, so Zannry could get more adventurers involved by offering more substantial loot.

Employment

Originally a knife thrower in a circus, Zannry went on to become an adventurer before eventually deciding to be a quest giver instead. With others doing the adventuring for him, Zannry was free to launch several personal projects that increased his revenue stream.

Zannry believes morality to be a hindrance more than anything else. He's seen too many good people die doing what they thought was right to put much stock in it.

Massively wealthy, Zannry tends to reinvest his income into pursuits to further increase his profits. He has several houses and at least two towns that he owns, as well as several of the small islands in the Newland Archipelago.

Massively rich goblin who enjoys shoring up his cash with yet more money. His schemes frequently involve adventurers, either exploiting them, or because they try to stop him.
