Propulsion

AT-EVs use treads to crawl across the ground but are also equipped with a drill on the front and back which can grip stone and earth to pull the vehicle along while cutting through obstructions.

Armor and defense

AT-EVs have extremely thick outer shells. They are built to take a beating in the dangerous underground tunnels. AT-EVs do not have windows as it's more risky in the event of a cave in.

Communication Tools & Systems

AT-EVs are equipped with radio systems that can communicate with nearby crew and other AT-EVs. Most also have limited magical communication to the surface.

Sensors

AT-EVs use a special system of tremors to project an image onto a screen for the drivers and crew giving them a full 360 degree view of the craft and the area around it up to around 30 meters.

Additional & auxiliary systems

AT-EVs are equipped with oxygen recyclers which pull in what little air might be around them and pump it into the vehicle. In emergencies AT-EVs are equipped with oxygen tanks that can provide up to twelve hours of oxygen.
