The Ember Knight

Summary

During the gods war, the Eastern portion of Ovenica was ruled by an evil king. With the mountains and Briarborn Wood to the North, and the Allanora Sea to the West, it was virtually impossible to mount a successful attack on his lands. For centuries the King ruled, bloated with power and greed until a noble knight, now known only as The Ember Knight, bravely made their way past the kings defences and face him in single combat. During that battle the knight called upon The Champion to bless them and holy fire wreathed their sword. With a final blow the evil king was stuck down and a prophecy escaping as his final breath: that he would return. Even with the lands now freed from the evil king's terror, the Ember Knight was restless. Their mind became consumed with the prophecy and they spent every waking moment looking into ways to keep the evil king from returning. Eventually the Ember Knight passed and was laid to rest alongside their holy sword: the Emberblade.
