With magic no longer falling apart, the world began healing. The land became saturated with magic and nature took over. Instead of fighting against the growing mass of trees, grasses, and other planets, most of Ovenica works with them. Druids become a heavily sought after resource to help with creating houses, buildings, and even whole cities out of living plantlife.
A decade long war brought the peaceful growth to a grinding halt and replaced it with violent and brutal inventions. Kurleigh took up arms when the Angels of Iron and the Prathian armed forces attempted to push past the border town of Pondwood. The war devastated the land but out of it sprang Kurleigh's now booming firearm industry.
Now Kurleigh continues to expand and stretch itself thin while Prathia rots under the anti-magic rhetoric of the Angels of Iron; and across the Allanora Sea, Evosos has become a booming gold rush country with the exploration the newly healing Shattered Lands.
Despite assurances that Ovenicans are living in a golden age, rumours still persist of terrible things in the shadows, monsters lurking on the edges of civilization, and corruption within the ruling class.
