Bertel Falls

The Bertel Falls can be found in Logenthru. The waterfall itself is absolutely one of the most beautiful geographical points of interest in this entire world. The quality of the water is excellent, and the nature of the rock around it mean that there are any number of sparkles that can be caught.
The local flora is not particularly poisonous or venomous, either, which means that there are few dangers from that quarter. Which is not to say the area is safe, but at least you don't have to worry about the plants attacking. They are typically green and verdant, when in the spring and summer season, adding to the natural beauty of the area.
There is one particular element of the Bertel Falls that make them such an interesting geographical feature: the water flows upwards, into the sky. It goes over a floating rock, and then falls back down to the ground in thundering streams. The water almost always catches the sunlight, or indeed whatever light is in the area. On bright days, it can be quite blinding.
It is a very popular spot for romantic gestures, and for the more wholesome magical rituals. It's not popular for the average tourist, however. Namely, because not everyone survives going there.
The primary danger of the area comes from the magic that allows the water to flow the way it does. It has its primary function, yes, and it does that very well. But whoever it was set the magic up in the first place (and this is a topic of some great debate, considering how long ago this happened), they did not do a good job of accounting for secondary effects.
These effects include such things as:

• Speaking backwards
• Losing control of one's limbs
• An inescapable almost magnetic attraction to the water
• Craving jelly candies
• The palm of one's hands turning bright green
• etc.

This list is not comprehensive, not is it necessarily a promise that anything will happen. There have been a lot of people who have had nothing bad happen to them. There are the same number who suffered catastrophic side effects. Be wary.
With that in mind, consider that if you must go to see this remarkable waterfall, do so from a safe distance.
